Fuel system

6Check that the fuel pressure reduces when vacuum pressure is applied to the pressure regulatorIf the fuel pressure does not reduce, replace the pressure regulatorNOTE: When the vacuum pressure reaches the specified level, the fuel pressure reduces
WARNING
Reduce the fuel pressure before loosening the vapor separator drain screw, or pressurized fuel will spray out and may result in serious injury
Removing the fuel hose clamp
1Remove the fuel hose clamp by cutting the crimped section of the clamp
Draining the fuel
1Remove the cap 12Cover the pressure check valve of the vapor separator with rag, and then press in the pressure check valve using thin screwdriver to release the fuel pressure
WARNING
Always reduce the fuel pressure in the high-pressure fuel line before servicing the line or the vapor separatorIf the fuel pressure is not released, pressurized fuel may spray out3Place container under the vapor separator drain hose, and then loosen the drain screw 24Drain the fuel from the vapor separator drain hose by pressing the pressure check valve using thin screwdriver
