1Disconnect the quick connector from the fuel railNOTE: Before disconnecting the quick connector, release the fuel pressure2Connect fuel pressure gauge adapter between the quick connector and fuel rail3Connect the fuel pressure gauge to fuel pressure gauge adapter B4Disconnect the pressure regulator hose, and then connect the special service tools to the pressure regulator
WARNING
When connecting the fuel pressure gauge, first cover the connection between the gauge and the adapter with clean, dry rag to prevent fuel from leaking out Gently screw in the gauge until it is firmly connectedFuel pressure gauge adapter 1: YB-06942 Fuel pressure gauge 2: YB-06766 4Turn the engine start switch to ON, and then measure the fuel pressure within secondsNOTE: The fuel pressure decreases seconds after the engine start switch is turned to ONFuel pressure (reference data): 300 kPa (3.0 kgfcm2, 43.5 psi) 5Measure the fuel pressure seconds after turning the engine start switch to ONFuel pressure (reference data): 260 kPa (2.6 kgfcm2, 37.7 psi) 6Start the engine, warm it up utes, and then measure the sureIf below specification, high-pressure fuel line and separatorfor minfuel prescheck the the vapor
