CHK ADJ Top cowling
Periodic checks and adjustments
Checking the top cowling
1Check the fitting by pushing the cowling with both handsAdjust if necessary
2Check the low-pressure fuel hose connections and fuel joint for leaksReplace if necessaryAlso, check the fuel filter 1, fuel pump 2, strainer 3, and fuel cooler for leaks or deteriorationReplace if necessary3Check the high-pressure fuel hose connections for leaksReplace if necessaryAlso, check the vapor separator 5, fuel rail 6, fuel injectors 7, and pressure regulator for leaks or deteriorationReplace if necessary

2Loosen the bolts 13Move the hook up or down slightly to adjust its position
