Backlash indicator gauge 3: YB-06265 Magnetic plate 4: YB-07003 Dial gauge 5: YU-03097 Magnet flexible stand 6: YU-34481 6Slowly turn the drive shaft clockwise and counterclockwise and measure the backlash when the drive shaft stops in each direction
3Install the special service tool so that it pushes against the propeller shaftNOTE: Tighten the universal puller or center bolt while turning the drive shaft until the drive shaft can no longer be turnedBearing housing puller 1: YB-06207 Universal puller 2: YB-06117 4Install the backlash indicator onto the drive shaft (22.4 mm [0.88 in] in diameter), then the dial gauge onto the lower unit5Set the lower unit upside down
