NOTE: Apply enginLe oil to the cylinder head bolts before installation Tighten the M10 bolts to the specified torques in three stages first, and then tighten the M8 bolts to the specified torques in two stages Make mark on the M10 bolts and the cylinder head, and then tighten the bolts 90 from the markCylinder head bolt (M10): 1st: 19 Nm (1.9 kgfm, 14 ftlb) 2nd: 37 Nm (3.7 kgfm, 27 ftlb) 3rd: 90 Cylinder head bolt (M8): 1st: 14 Nm (1.4 kgfm, 10 ftlb) 2nd: 28 Nm (2.8 kgfm, 20 ftlb)
4Lightly tap the valve spring retainer with plastic hammer to set the valve cotter securely
