4Attach the special service tool to spark plug wire #1

CAUTION:
The throttle cable joint must be screwed in minimum of 8.0 mm (0.31 in) h14Connect the cable joint, install the clip, and then tighten the locknut15Check the throttle cable for smooth operation and adjust the cable length, if necessary, repeating steps 812
Checking the ignition timing
1Remove the ignition coil cover2Start the engine and warm it up for minutes3Attach the special service tool to spark plug wire #1 1, and then check the engine idle speedAdjust if out of specification
