Do not move the crankshaft until the main journal oil clearance measurement has been completedCrankcase bolt (M8): 1st: 15 Nm (1.5 kgfm, 11 ftlb) 2nd: 30 Nm (3.0 kgfm, 22 ftlb) Crankcase bolt (M6): 1st: Nm (0.6 kgfm, 4.3 ftlb) 2nd: 12 Nm (1.2 kgfm, 8.7 ftlb) 8Remove the crankcase and measure the width of the compressed Plastigauge (PG-1) on each main journalReplace the main bearing if out of specification
Install the bearings in their original positions
Insert the projection of the bearing into the slot on the cap and connecting rod3Put piece of Plastigauge (PG-1) onto the crank pin, parallel to the crankshaft
