CRANKSHAFT AND PISTON
(5) Install the other half of the bearings into the crankcase
Align the projection of the bearing with the notch in the crankcase(6) Install the crankcase onto the cylinder block(7) Apply engine oil on to the threads and seat of the crankcase bolts(8) Tighten the bolts to the specified torque in two steps
Do not move the crankshaft until the mainbearing oil clearance measurement has been completedBolt (M8) 1st 15 Nm (1.5 m-kgf, 11 ft-Ib) 2nd 30 Nm (3.0 m-kgf, 22 ft-Ib) Bolt (M6) 1st Nm (0.6 m-kgf, 4.3 ft-Ib) 2nd 12 Nm (1.2 m-kgf, 8.7 ft-Ib) (9) Remove the crankcase(10) Measure the width of the compressed Plastigauge on each main journal
