IGNITION SYSTEM REPLACEMENT
INSPECTION
Pulser coil 1Disconect the pulser coil leads from the COl unit and connect the pocket tester as shown2Check the resistance of the pulser coil windings with the pocket testerIf the resistance is not within specification, replace the pulser coil assembly
Charge coil resistance: gOn 10 at 20C (68 F) (Brown-Black) Lighting coil 1Disconnect the lighting coil leads from rectifier and connect the pocket tester as shown2Check the resistance of the lighting coil windings with the pocket testerIf the resistance is not within specification, replace the lighting coil assembly
