Install the timing plate onto the cylinder bodyCrankcase Place the crankcase on the cyl inder body, and tighten the boltsNOTE: _ Apply Yamaha Bond No.4 to both mating surfaces of the crankcase and cylinder bodyTightening order and torque: 7Tightening torque: 1st step M6 Nm (0.6 m- kg, 4.3 ft-Ib) M815Nm(1.5m-kg,11ft-lb) 2nd step M6 12 Nm (1.2 m-kg, 8.7 ft-Ib) M8 30 Nm (3.0 m- kg, 22 ft-Ib)
Bolt the oil seal housing to the bottom of the cylinder bodyTightening torque: Nm (0.6 m- kg, 4.3 ftlb) Insert the crankshaft into the engine stand which was used in disassembling the engineInstall the anode in the water jacketCylinder head Make sure the mating surface of the cylinder body with the cylinder head is free of dust, then install the cylinder head gasket and cylinder head on the cylinder body and tighten the bolts
