Connect the short hose to the check valve (outlet), and clamp it with the bandLikewise, connect the long hose to the check valve (inlet), and clamp it with the bandFuel filter The fuel filter removes any water or impurities contained in the fuel to keep them from entering the engineWater collects on the filter cup bottom and impurities are removed by the filter NOTE: _ Fit the tank mark collar to the long fuel hoseI nsert fuel joints into both ends of the fuel hose, and clamp the joints with bandsRemoval

Gasoline is highly inflammable and explosiveAvoid smoking while servicing the fuel systemAlso, keep away from open flames and sparks1Fuel joint (Engine side) Remove the clip from the fuel hose joint and remove the hose from the fuel joint by pushing the end of the hose with slotted-head screwdriverNext, remove the bolt, and remove the fuel joint from the bottom cowling
