GEAR CASE ASSEMBLY
Always use new gaskets, oil seals and O-ringsThe use of any used oil seal or O-ring may result in oil leakage due to invisible scratches or stretchesApply grease to parts where specified
2Drive shaft taper roller bearing aPlace the drive shaft sleeve over the drive shaft so that the drive shaft sleeve locating rib fits in the slit in the needle bearing in the gear case
Gear case
Place the gear case in an inverted position and install it on the repair stand1Installing the needle bearingInsert the driver rod into the needle bearing plate, and screw the attachment over the rodNext, insert the needle bearing into the attachment

NOTE: _ 1The driver rod shoud be inserted into the
needle bearing plate from the side having the mark "3DA 2The needle bearing should be installed with the mark on the flange side of the attachmentThe drive rod should be driven in until it contacts the needle bearing plate
