5Bolt the bracket to the upper casing NOTE: _
One of the four bolts securing the bracket must be tightened from the under side of the bracket
8Hold the link, which connects the shift lever arm to the shift rod lever, with washers and cotter pins
2 Washers
3 Cotter pinsInstall the rubber seal over the bracket and upper casing
Insert the shift rod into the steering pivot shaft, install the washer on the arm, and connect the arm to the shift rod, then lock it with the cotter pinHook the torsion spring onto the shift rod lever, and hook it onto the bracket
