5 Remove the friction plate, bushings, G-ring, and washers from the swivel bracketUnhook the torsion spring from the tilt lever
The bushing and washer on the upper side may come off together with the steering pivot shaftI this case, remove them from the shaftRemove the cap and nut on the tilt bolt and disconnect the port clamp bracket
Remove the tilt bolt and remove the tilt lever torsion spring, washers, and tilt lever
