ENGINE ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT Important informations 1Gasket and seal All gaskets and seals should be replaced when an engine is overhauledAll gasket surfaces and oil seal lips must be cleanedInstall the needle bearing in the upper cylinder connecting rod small endTo install, insert the small end bearing installer (jig) into the small end, and insert 34 needles into the gap between the installer and the small end
2 Properly oil all mating engine parts and bearings during reassembly3 Circlips All circlips should be inspected carefully before reassemblyAlways replace piston pin clips after one useReplace distorted circlipsPistion crankshaft
1Fit the piston rings in the grooves2Align each ring end gap with the locating pin
