d If the timing plate failes to point to the specified ignition timing, loosen the COl magneto base stopper bolt and align the ignition timing mark with the timing plateBring the COl magneto base stopper to contact the stopper on the crankcase, and tighten the bolt
Throttle cam and throttle link adjustment in wide open throttle
NOTE: When making the above adjustment, discon nect the magneto control joint link on the magneto control lever sideAfter adjustment, be sure to set the joint link
1Turn the COl magneto base counterclockwise so that the fu II-advanced side of the magneto base stopper contacts the stopper on the crankcase

WARNING: Be careful not to touch any rotating parts (such as the COl magneto rotor), COl unit or ignition coil while making the adjustmentNOTE: 1To make the above ignition timing ad justment, disconnect the joint link connecting the COl magneto base to the magneto control lever, and move the magneto base2Before starting the adjustment, loosen the carburetor link set screw, and set the carburetor cam roller free so that the engine speed will not increase
