28) Inspection of Crank Pin Oil Clearance 12Clean crank shaft and connecting rod parts and 3Place cylinder block upside down on the work benchInstall piston to connecting rod 2, and then, install the assembly to cylinder blockDo not attach piston rings in this step
Install crank shaft to cylinder blockWhen installing, bring projection of bearing to notch of cylinder block
Place commercially available plasti-gauge on the crank pin so that is parallel to crank shaft 1Install connecting rod and cap to crank pin Be sure to install the cap in original position (direction) Be sure that connecting rod "Lmark points crank shaft flywheel sideTighten connecting rod bolts in two steps to specified torqueDo not move connecting rod and crankshaft until oil clearance measurement is completedConnecting Rod Bolts1st tightening torque(4 lb ft) [0.5 kgf m] 2nd tightening torque10 (7 lb ft) [1.0 kgf m]
