Remove the engine cover On electric start models, disconnect the electrical cables between the battery and starter On oil injected models, disconnect and plug the oil line Remove the oil tank Disconnect the neutral switch Loosen the neutral starter interlock locknut and disconnect the interlock cable from the throttle limiter Loosen the throttle cable locknuts and disconnect the cable from the control lever7Remove the silencer cover8Remove the recoil starter assembly
