6-6 OIL INJECTION OIL LINE CAUTIONS
1Do not bend or twist the oil lines when installing2When installing clips, position the tabs toward the inside and make sure they are not in contact with other parts3Check the oil lines, when installed in position, do not come in contact with rods and lever during engine operation4Insall the oil sensor and oil lines with the sensor's arrow mark pointing to the oil pump side5Secure all valves and sensors using their original fasteners6Install hose protectors in their original positions7Extreme caution should be taken not to scratch or damage oil lines8Do not excessively compress an oil line when installing clamps9Always use factory type clamps when installing fuel linesNever use screw type clamps10When installing the oil tank, ensure oil lines will not be pinched between the tank and the powerheadbe installed between the pump and powerhead correctly and connected to the proper fittings on the intake manifold in order for the system to operate properly1 Turn the battery switch off andor disconnect the negative battery cable2Remove the engine cover3Position suitable container under the lower cowling to receive oil drained from the tank4Remove the oil tank5Mark the exact location of each oil line for installation reference6Remove the clamps with pair of pliers and push the clamps up along the oil lines7Cap the ends of the oil lines to prevent oil leakage and cap the fitting at the oil pump to prevent dirt entering the systemTo install: 8If the oil lines are to be reused, trim small amountAin off the endprior to connecting to ensure tight fit9Ensure the oil lines are filled with 2-stroke oil prior to starting the powerhead10Connect the oil lines to their proper locations11Position the clamps using pliers Do not use screw type clamps as they may damage the oil lines and cause oil leaksREMOVALINSTALLATION
