4Using the pump, pump air into the regulator until the air is released through the outlet5As air is released from the regulator, check the gauge to see if the pressure meets specification: 34.1-38.4 psi (2.4-2.7 kglcm2)

1Remove the engine cover2Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and then disconnect the battery cables from the battery terminals3Loosen the fasteners securing the oil tank to the engine and move the oil tank to the outside4Place rag over the banjo bolt fitting on the fuel line and then slowly loosen the bolt relieving the fuel pressure in the fuel line5Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately6Pinch the fuel line with your fingers to make sure all the pressure has been relievedTo install: 7Reinstall all the hoses on the regulator8Tighten the banjo bolt to 29 ftIbs(40 Nm) 9Install the oil tank back in its place on the side of the engine and tighten the fasteners10Reconnect the battery cables to the battery terminals11Install the engine coveru
