4-12 FUEL SYSTEM 2Push the float pin free using fine pointed awl and remove the float pin from the float arm and lift off the float and needle valve from the bowl3Remove the main nozzle and the main jet assembly4Remove the needle seat and gasket using wide bladed screwdriverDiscard the gasket5Loosen the throttle stop screw and unscrew the carburetor top with the throttle lever assembly as one unit6Disconnect the throttle plunger from the needle valve and remove the valve, spring and retainerIt is not necessary to remove the E-clip from the jet needle, unless replacement is required or if the powerhead is to be operated at significantly different elevation7Turn in the throttle stop screw (counting the turns for reassembly) until it lightly seatsTurn out the screw and remove it and the attached spring8Remove the fuel inlet fitting and fuel filterCLEANINGINSPECTION
