MAINTENANCE 3-7 vibrations in the motorRemove and inspect the propellerUse file to trim nicks and burrsTake care not to remove any more material than is absolutely necessaryAlso, check the rubber and splines inside the propeller hub for damageIf there is damaae to either of these, take the propeller to your local marine dealer or "prop shop"They can evaluate the damaged propeller and determine if it can be saved by rehubbingAdditionally, the propeller should be removed each time the boat is hauled from the water at the end of an outingAny material entangled behind the propeller should be removed before any damage to the shaft and seals can occurThis may seem like waste of time, but the small amount of time involved in removing the propeller is returned many times by reduced maintenance and repair, including the replacement of expensive parts05003P18
