TROUBLESHOOTING
NOTE: Before troubleshooting the electric starter system, make sure of the followingBattery is fully charged All cableswires are securely connected Shift is in "NEUTRAL" position
Tiller handle model

Circuit check schematic
Starter motor relay
GND Starter motor

Battery Fuse GND YG To RectifierRegulator WR

Starter motor Sub cable
GND Neutral switch Br WR Starter switch

Starter motor will not run
Measure voltage at terminal 1It must be above 12VIs result OK?

Battery cable failure

Check for relay "click" sound when starter button depressedIs there "click" sound?

Check 25A fuse and fuse case(See page 4-4 Is result OK?
