Crankshaft Apply engine oil to upper oil seal lipInstall upper oil seal to crankshaft$ Do not re-use seal removedBe sure to use new sealNOTE: Install upper oil seal with its springlipped side facing inwardApply engine oil to crank pin and crankshaft main journal and install crankshaft in cylinderNOTE: When installing crankshaft to cylinder, be sure to fit tab of seal in groove of cylinder1 1Oil seal
CONROD CAP Apply engine oil to crank pin and conrod bearingInstall dowel pins and conrod cap (with bearing) to conrod with arrow mark on cap toward flywheel side$ Reassemble each conrod cap to its original position1
