Fuel components and fuel hoses after the high pressure fuel pump remain pressurized at all timesTo protect against fuel spray, relieve fuel line pressure before disconnecting or removing components1Relieve fuel pressure in fuel feed line(See page 5-3 2Remove the ring gear cover and air intake silencer case(See page 6-2 3Disconnect low pressure fuel pump lead wire connector 1Disconnect high pressure fuel pump lead wire connector at fuel pump4Disconnect purge valve hose from fuel vapor separator1Ring gear cover and air intake silencer case 1
