FUEL SYSTEM

" small amount of fuel may be released when the fuel feed hose is disconnectedPlace container under the fuel feed hose or 3-way joint pipe with shop cloth so that released fuel is caught in container or absorbed in clothPlace fuel soaked cloth in an approved container5Ensure emergency stop switch lock plate is in place6Squeeze fuel primer bulb until you feel resistance7Turn ignition switch "ON" for seconds (to operate fuel pump), then turn it "OFF"8Repeat this ("ON" and "OFF") procedure or times to pressurize the fuel system and then check fuel pressure9Check for any signs of fuel leakage, then reinstall the ring gear cover and air intake silencer case10Measure fuel pressure in line at cranking or idle speed operationFuel pressure: Approx255 kPa (2.55 kgcm236.3 psi) 11Stop engine and wait minutesCheck residual fuel pressure in lineResidual fuel pressure: 200 kPa (2.0 kgcm2, 28.4 psi) or more
