SERVICE MANUAL ing break-in processAfter initial 10 hours of operation, switch to straight gasoline in the fuel tankThe lower unit gears and bearings are lubricated with oil contained in the gemcaseRecommended gearcase oil is Suzuki Outboard Motor Gear Oil or suitable equivalent SAE DO hypoid gear oilGearcase capacity is approximately 610 mL (20.6 nozLower unit oil should be changed after the first 10 hours of operation and after every 100 hours or seasonally thereafterReinstall drain and vent plugs securely, using new gasket if necessary, to ensure water tight sealNOTE: Oil level in gearcase should be rechecked after running outboard motor short time and topped off if necessary
