Suzuki DT30 (Prior to 1988) LUBRICATION
The power head is lubricated by oil mixed with the fu lOn models prior to 1987, fuel :oil ratio should be 30:1 during break-in (first five hours of operation) of new or rebuilt engine and 50:1 for normal serviceOn models fter 1986, fuel :oil ratio during engine breakin should be 25:1 and 100: for normal serviceRecommended oil is Suzuki Outboard Motor Oil or suitable equivalent (formerly mAl certified TC-WlI oi lRecommended fuel is regular or unlead ed gasoline with minimum pump octane rating of 85The lower unit gears and bearings are lubricated by approximately 230 mL (7.77 ozs of SAE 90 hypoid outboard gear oi lReinstall vent and fill plugs securely using new gaske t, if necessary, to ensure water-t.ight seal
