POWER UNIT
CRANKCASE TO CYLINDER 1Clean the mating surface of the cylinder and the crankcase2Apply the bond to the mating surface of the crankcase as shown99000-31140: SUZUKI BOND "1207B"
Apply bond to

Apply the bond to the mating surface avoiding the bearing with the bond
3Install the three dowel pins
4Install the crankcase (with the bearing) to the cylinder5Apply the engine oil lightely to the crankcase bolts6Tighten the twenty bolts by the three steps according to the numerical order as shownCrankcase bolt: 1st step mm 10 mm 2nd step mm 10 mm Final step mm 10 mm N.m (0.5 kg-m, 3.5 lb-ft) 10 N.m (1.0 kg-m, 7.0 lb-ft) 20 N.m (2.0 kg-m, 14.5 lb-ft) 40 N.m (4.0 kg-m, 29.0 lb-ft) 25 N.m (2.5 kg-m, 18.0 lb-ft) 50 N.m (5.0 kg-m, 36.0 lb-ft)
