1D-49 Power Unit Mechanical: Crankcase to cylinder 1) Clean mating surface of cylinder and crankcaseApply suzuki bond to mating surface of crankcase as shownCAUTION Apply bond to mating surface onlyDo not allow bond to contact surface of bearing: Sealant 9900031140 (SUZUKI Bond 1207B (100 g)) 3) Install crankcase to cylinderApply engine oil to crankcase boltsTighten crankcase bolts in three steps following the order indicated belowNOTE Tighten 10 mm (0.394 in thread diameter bolts first (following the order shown in figure), then tighten mm (0.315 in thread diameter boltsTightening torque Crankcase inside bolt (10 mm thread diameter) [1st step]: 11 Nm (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lbf-ft) Crankcase inside bolt (10 mm thread diameter) [2nd step]: 45 Nm (4.5 kgf-m, 32.5 lbf-ft) Crankcase inside bolt (10 mm thread diameter) [Final step]: 52 Nm (5.2 kgf-m, 37.5 lbf-ft) Tightening torque Crankcase outside bolt (8 mm thread diameter) [1st step]: Nm (0.6 kgf-m, 4.3 lbf-ft) Crankcase outside bolt (8 mm thread diameter) [2nd step]: 21 Nm (2.1 kgf-m, 15.0 lbf-ft) Crankcase outside bolt (8 mm thread diameter) [Final step]: 25 Nm (2.5 kgf-m, 18.1 lbf-ft)
