Inspect spark plug Every 100 hours (6 months) Replace spark plug Every 200 hours (12 months) Standard spark plug NGK DCPR6E CAUTION

Change gear oil Initially after 20 hours (1 month) and every 100 hours (6 months) 1) Place outboard motor upright on level surface2) Place container under the lower unit3) Remove lower gear oil drain plug (1) first, then remove gear oil level plug (2) and drain gear oilOnly resistor (R) type spark plugs must be used with this engineUsing non-resistor spark plug will cause ignition and fuel injection system malfunctionsRemoval
