Maintenance and Tune-Up: Engine Oil Filter Replacement 1) Drain engine oil in the same manner of engine oil change procedure2) Remove STBD and PORT side coversRefer to "Lower Side Cover Removal and Installation" in Section 2A (Page 2A-3)3) Place shop cloth under the oil filter before removal to absorb any oil released4) Using an oil filter wrench to loosen the oil filter, then remove the filter and O-ringSpecial tool (A): 0991547341 (Oil filter wrench)
6) Tighten the filter 34 turn from the point of contact with mounting surface using an oil filter wrenchTightening torque Engine oil filter (a): 14 Nm (1.4 kgf-m, 10.0 lbf-ft)
