COMPONENT INSPECTIONS
HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP SEC OPERATING SOUND 1Install the emergency stop switch lock plate in position2Shift into Neutral3Turn ignition switch ON and check for fuel pump operating soundFuel pump operating sound: Sounds for approx6 seconds only NOTE: Fuel pump operating sound is low because pump is inside fuel vapor separatorIf you cannot hear pump sound clearly, use sound scope or long blade screw driverFUEL INJECTOR OPERATING SOUND (CRANKING) 1Disconnect all ignition coil connectors2Touch sound scope or long blade screw driver to fuel injector body as shown3Crank engine and check for injector operating soundInjector operating sound: "Click"
