GEAR CAS!:
(5) Have pinion gear .meshed with forward gear
(8) Insert shifting rod into gearcase, and retain (6) Fit the adjusting shim (which was removed
in disassembIy) to the forward end of drive shaftFit the bearing housing to the gear caseInsert the serrated end of drive shaft into pinion gear
the rod with shifting stop screwCheck to sure that shifting rod is of smooth movementNOTE: Propeller shaft must off when installing removing the clutch rod
