RECOIL STARTER
Remove the sheave drum
the spring, place sheet of thick cloth it and handle it through the cloth to take it outIt is dangerous to handle this spring with naked hands
Put the sheave drum, as follows: (1) First, admit the bent end of spring into groove formed of drum(2) Twist the drum to the left just little to make sure the spring is positively engaged with drumIf reaction is felt in this twisting, it means the engagement is not complete: in this case, insert rod into hole and guide the spring end with this rod into engagement with the drum
