ELEC1R'CAL SYS1EM 63 2Setting ignition timing (Static adjustment) As shown in Fig8-4, bring the end face of the retainer stopper in with the alignment mark of the magneto stator and fix the retainer stopper with boltsWhen the end face of the stopper retainer is aligned with the boss of the cylinder center, ignition timing is: 20 (no-advance angle)

For the full-advance angle, adjust the length of the stator rod as shown in Fig8-5 so that the throttle contacts the inlet caseside stopperNow the ignition timing is: 25 20 (full-advance angle)
