1Apply light coat of Quicksilver Super Duty Gear Lubricant on l.Dof driveshaft tapered bearing2Thread used pinion nut onto end of driveshaftLeave approximately 116 in(2 mm) of nut threads exposedDriveshaft threads MUST NOT extend beyond nut or thread damage could result while pressing3Place bearing over driveshaft4Using an old driveshaft bearing inner race or other suitable mandrel (which applies pressing force on center bearing race only), press bearing onto shaft until seated
