DIRECT INJECTORS
Six direct injectors (1 per cylinder) are used to inject fuelair mixture into the cylindersInjectors are mounted between fuel rails and cylinder headsCheck the resistance (ohms value) of the direct injector coil winding and determine if there is short circuit between the winding and the engine groundIncorrect ohms readings or shorted winding will cause an incorrect fuelair spray patternThe correct reading should be between 1.0 and 1.6 ohmsIf the reading is outside of this range replace the injector
