Trim Indicator Gauge Needle Adjustment Trim eng ine to "Down" position If trim indicator needle is not at the bottom of the green arc on the instrument face, tilt eng ine out to gain access to the switch Loosen clamp and reposition trim sender switch so that trim indi cator gauge needle will be to bottom of green arc on instrument when engine is trimmed to full "Down" position
4Remove trim hoses from pump Cap end of hoses5Remove bolt and lockwasher, and lift pump from mounting bracket
Installing Trim Pump
1Slide trim pump into mounting bracket and secure to bracket with bolt and lockwasher2Reconnect trim hoses to pumpDO NOT crossthread or over-tighten hose fittings3Reconnect trim harness connector (3 pronged) to trim pump at connection point4Connect battery lead to battery (positive lead first) 5Turn manual release valve knob to full right (clockwise) position6Check oil leveland fill if necessaryReferto "Filling and Bleeding the Power Trim System", see Table of Contents7Bleed hyd raulic systemRefer toFilling and Bleeding the Power Trim System", see Table of Contents 8Check for oil leaks
