DISASSEMBLY IMPORTANT: Keep record of shim amounts and location during disassembly of clutch actuator rod to aid in reassembly12Push locating pin out of clutch actuator rodAfterlocating pin is removed, compression springs and shim(s) are free to fall to out of ctutch actuator rod
ACAUTION
Care MUST BE taken when handling clutch actuator rodThe locating pin is free and will fall out, allowing compression springs to fall out12Clean clutch actuator rod in solvent and dry with compressed airInsert Cross Pin Tool (9 1-86642) between compression springs in elongated sial in clutch rod back-and-forth in elongated slotThis will release any initial set from springs4Measure distance from each end of elongated slot to
3Compress both springs by forcing cross pin tool
