Clutch Actuator Rod REASSEMBLY SHIMMING
1Insert compression springs into clutch actuator
4Compress both springs by forcing cross pin tool back-and-forth in elongated slot This will release any initial set from springs 5Measure distance from each end of elongated slot to the near side of cross pin toolThe measurements taken ust be equal within 1 64" (O.4mm)6If measurements taken in Step are not eq ual to within 164"remove locati ng pin and reshim compression spring
rod, followed by shim washer2Place small amount of Quicksilver Bearing Assem bly Lubricant on locating pin, then position pin in cross-hole in end of clutch act uator rod with flat side of pin toward shim washer
