NOTE: Clean driveshaft and pinion nut thread surfaces with Loctite Primer (91-592371) before applying Loctite Grade "An (92-32609-1)laApply small amount of Loctite Grade "An onto pinion nut threads and secure pinion gear to driveshaft with pinion nut and washerFlat side pinion nut should face away from pinion gear 19Use socket and flex handle to hold pinion nut (pad area where flex handle will contact gear housing while torquing nut)20.Place Driveshaft Holding Tool (91-12362) over crankshaft end of driveshaftTorque pini on nut to 70 lbII(95.0 Nm)21Reinstall dia indicator against bottom of Driveshaft Removal Tool (9 l-92785A 1)Verify total up and down movement of driveshaft is .002- .006" (.051mm -.152mm)
