4With tapered end of upper roller bearing facing up (towards crankshaft splines), slide tapered bearing over crankshaft end of driveshaft5Slide bearing installation tool (91-12364) over crankshaft end of driveshaft6T hread used pinion nut onto driveshaftDO NOT allow driveshaft pin ion thread to extend beyon pin ion nut7Using press against the pinion nut, seal upper tapered bearing on driveshaft
1Applya light coat of Quicksilver Bearing Assembly Lubricant to the driveshaft surface where the upper lower tapered roller bearings will be located2With tapered end of lower roller bearing facing down (toward pin ion gear splines), slide lower tapered bearing over pi nion gear end of drive shaft3Place bearing driver tool (Kent Moore J-5590) over pinion gear end of driveshaft and using press, seat lower tapered bearing on driveshaft
