2In stall check valves and reta iners into fuel pump body_
4Reinstall rod into retainer cap anduse small hammer or hammer and punch to tap rod down into retai ner until flush with top of retainer
3With reta ine insta lled in pump body, break retainer rod from retainer by bending sideways
