Starter Solenoid Test NOTE: Two different style solenoids have been used When connecting wires refer to following photos (depending on wh ich style solenoid is being tested) for terminal indentification1Disconnect all wi res from solenoid
2Use an ohmmeter (A scale) and connect meter leads between solenoid terminals and 23Connect 12-volt supply between solenoid terminals and 4Solenoid should click and meter shou ld read zero ohms (fu ll continuity) 4If meter does not read zero ohm (full continuity), replace solenoid
