The starter system consists of the followi ng parts: 12345Battery Starter solenoid Neutral start switch Starter motor Ignition switch
The neutral start switch pens th sta rter ci rcuit when the sh ift control leve is not in neutralT his prevents accidental sta rting when engine is in gear
CAUTION
The starter motor may be damaged seriously If operated continuouslyDO NOT operate continuously for more than 30 secondsAllow minute cooling period between starting attempts
