THROTTLE CABLE INSTALLATION and ADJUSTMENT TO ENGINE
1Secure barrel retainer (a) with latch (b), latch must snap onto barrel retainer
1Move remote control handle forward, to wide-openthrottle position 2Move throttle lever (on engine) to wide-openthrottle and adjust brass barrel (a) on throttle cable to attain the same distance between brass barrel and hole in end of throttle cable as exists between barrel retainer and throttle lever pin (b) 3Slip brass barrel into barrel retainer and then place end of throttle cable on throttle lever pin (b) and lock in place with cable retainer (c) as shown 4With remote control in the wide-open-throttle positionA 116" gap (d) mustexist between guide (e) of control cable anchor bracket and control cable end (f)If no gap exists, adj ust brass barrel to attai gap
