Troubleshooting the Starter Circuit
Before beginning the starter circuit troubleshooting flow chart, followingcheck first for the following conditions: 1Make sure that battery is fully charged2Check that shift control lever is in "neutral" position 3Check terminals for corrosion and loose connections4Check cables and wiring for frayed or worn insulation5Check fuse in red wireThe following "Starter Circuit Troubleshooting Flow Chart" is designed as an aid to troubleshooting the starter circuitThis flow chart will accurately locate any existing malfunctionLocation of "Test Points" (called out in flow chart) are numbered, below
