Installation of Drive Shaft Bearings
2Apply oil on .0 of bearing (d)NOTE: Drive on numbered side of bearing 1Apply oil on .0 of bearing (a) Drive bearing (a) into housing until bearing bottomsout, using suitable mandrel (or socket) and driver rodPull bearing (d) into housing by holding rod (a) so that it will not rotate, then tighten upper nut against plate (c)Pull bearing up into bore until it bottoms on gear housing shoulder
