Breaker Point Assembly and Condenser Removal and Installation REMOVAL Remove screw (a), retaining clip (b) and disconnect wire (c)Remove breaker point assembly (d) from plate Remove screw (e) and lift condenser (f) from plateINSTALLATION Position condenser (f) at location shown and secure with screw and lockwasherMake sure felt pad (g) is in place and moistened with oilInstall breaker points and connect wires as shown
Breaker Point Adjustment
1Reinstall flywheel as outlined in "Flywheel Installation 2Rotate flywheel to position high point on cam against the rubbing block of the breaker points assembly3Check point gap using feeler gauge Point gap should be .012 in to .016 in(.3 to Amm) 4If necessary, loosen adjustment screw and reposition breaker point base to obtain correct point gap 5Check that felt pad (g) is making light contact with camFelt Pad should be Moistened With Oil and Making Light Contact With Cam
